This article presents a case in which a structured approach was used to develop a business strategy aimed at the sale of the company, but the most professional approach to corporate stockholders of the business and their emotional state, thinking about monetizing more soon as possible their efforts, was more important than a proper medium and long-term strategy suggested and agreed with the advice. The consultancy has proposed using an appropriate set of methodological tools, ranging from the review of the business model followed by an assessment of management and the company in order to identify and select strategic solutions to create more value for the company over the medium term
